unique and lyrical dances of Iran and Tajikistan
Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm
$12 per class
These unique classes are focused on women's dance styles of Iran and Tajikistan. The instructor, Sonja Hinz, holds an M.A. in Dance Ethnology, studied dance in Tajikistan for six months in 2006, and has been performing locally (with Banat Sahar Dance Troupe, Shourangeez Persian Ensemble, Delshodeh, and as a soloist) since 1997. She opened La Vida Dance Studio in January of 2008. Wear comfortable clothing and come prepared to strengthen your torso and firm up your waistline. Everyone is welcome!
